Gymnastics Classes - Focus on tumbling on floor & double-mini trampoline exercises with elements of acrobatic gymnastics & beam.
Toddler-Time(walking to 3 yrs) Toddlers are natural tumblers, climbers, dancers, performers and ready to learn everything we introduce them to. By doing this type of program at such a young age they will have the ability to advance in a natural way without developing fears that most people have about the sport. We will use a wide variety of movement in a playful way to engage the children in movements that introduces them to the gymnastics sport, and open their world to dancing, parkour, acrobatics, performing and so much more. This will be done in a safe and fun way for you and your toddler. With help they can learn to bounce on a trampoline, crawl through an obstacle course, balance on a beam and in acrobatic poses, dance, play, imagine and perform. This class is open for ages 3 and younger, and their parent (or another adult). Plan to have fun with your toddler as we work together to develop basic gymnatics, dance, acro, ninja, parkour skills!
Preschool Gymnastics(2-4 yrs, must be potty trained) Your child's introduction into independent gymnastics classes. We focus on the gymnastics basics in this class, and we make sure they have a great time learning these skills safely and correctly. Skills such as balance, and gross motor skills. Socializing, jumping, we will "chalk" this class up to an "all-around" good time!
Tumbling & TrampolineThis class focus on 2 popular apparatuses that all kidz love: Trampoline and Tumbling. Students will improve in both tumbling and trampoline skill during the course. The students will also learn important safety rules about how to use trampolines safely, as well as play some fun games!
Basic GymnasticsFor kidz who are just starting their tumbling experience, we offer the basic class. Besides learning gymnastics basics, these classes will also focus on strength, flexibility and technical precision of gymnastics right from the start. Age 5 and older are welcome to join. Please contact us to sign your kids up.
Multi-Level GymnasticsOur Multi-Level class is for children with prior tumbling experience and is by invitation only. This class focuses on each tumbler at their individual level. Classes will focus on form and execution, as well as strength and flexibility to obtain technical precision of gymnastics!
Students should be able to do back bend, headstand and/or handstand, hurtle, dive forward roll, and cartwheel by themselves before entering this leveled class. . Gymnastics PlusThis Advanced level is for children who have mastered the basic skills and are working towards more advanced gymnastics proficiency. This class is by invitation. Students will be required to perform below skills for coaches with proper form before admission. Classes will also focus on strength, flexibility and technical precision of gymnastics!
Skills students should be able to accomplish without a spot: cartwheel, round off rebound, handstand forward roll and/or back extension, front limber and/or back bend kick over. . Acro BalletThe foundation for success in all styles of dance is Ballet! This is a fun class where we will incorporate Acrobatic movement with a variety of movements to introduce our kidz to the world of Dance! The main goal is to cultivate a love for music, movement and dance!
Aerial Weightless MovementIn Aerial Weightless Movement the dancer is suspended in a hammock or silks and explores the differencs in gravity, weightless and varied movement.
ParkourParkour is a training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training. Practitioners aim to get from one point to another in a complex environment, and in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Another popular use for parkour is to add some tumbling and stunting to these obstacle courses. With our gymnastics expertise we can offer this great training in a fun environment where kidz and get stronger and develop fun new skills to show off their great abilities.
Kidz KampOur Kidz Kamps are absolutely Magical!
Kidz Kamp is a fun way for kidz to spend the summer! This is a great same of all the types of classes we offer. So whether your kidz want to stay active working on their skills despite how busy summer can get or if they are new to Kardio Kidz and would like to sample what we have to offer, this is a great option. Sign up for the entire summer or by the week, this is a wonderful, enjoyable option. Movie Stunting Fight ChoreographyJoin us for our fun Movie Stunting and Acrobatics Fight Choreography to learn cool moves to show off and be the star of your own show!
Class will include some tumbling/fitness training, learning to look like your fighting without contact, and filming fight choreography for playback. |
Adult/Teen Gymnastics & TumblingGymnastics isn't just for kidz! This class is for Teens and Adult who want to improve their technique. Whether you currently Tumble and Flip or For those who used to tumble and want to get back into it, & also for those who never did it as a kid and want to learn now. Improve Flexibility, build Core Strength and work towards goals. Wear fitted clothing and bare feet.
Mini Cheer Dance TumbleThis is an introduction course for younger students (ages 3-5), and a great option for students who are just beginning to explore cheer, dance & tumbling. During this class students will be introduced to everything we offer at Kardio Kidz USA. They will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading while also exploring dance technique, and learn the basics of tumbling.

During this class students will be increase skills with all three areas of focus: Cheer technique, Dance ability, and Tumbling skills. They will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading while also exploring dance technique, and learn the basics of tumbling.
Students should be able to do back bend, headstand and/or handstand, hurtle, dive forward roll, cartwheel & roundoff by themselves before entering this leveled class. Cheer Dance & Tumble PlusThis is an advanced course, and a great option for students who want to continue to Cheer Dance and Tumble! Prior class experience is required. During this class students will be develop all areas we offer at Kardio Kidz USA. They will improve on the fundamentals of cheerleading while also perfecting their dance technique, and advance their tumbling skills.
Students should be able to do back bend from standing or kickover, headstand and/or handstand, dive cartwheel, roundoff by themselves before entering this leveled class. Combo Dance/ Acro & Tumbling(Ages 6-12) Acrobatic dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context.1
This fun class lets students artistically combine skills learned during Gymnastics training in a lyrical fashion to music. It is also a good course to highlight students strengths and self expression. All dance is an exploration of personal dance style and presentation. This class will incorporate basic dance technique including kicks, leaps, & turns with jazz and other styles of dance variations set to popular music. Students will not only discover a new adventure of dance as they explore Jazz dance and other popular styles of dance*, such as hip hop, improv, modern, comtemporary, lyrical and more. Students will also develop their own style, while learning to confidently express themselves through dance. *Other dance styles explored during course will vary depending on instructor's preference and class personality. * Students must have previous dance and tumbling or gymnastics experience as well as quality dance shoes. It is recommended to take a tumbling or gymnastics class in addition to this class. Power StompThis class is a romping good time. Enjoy basic tap and clogging instruction at any age. Tap or clogging shoes required.
Private LessonsDo you have a dancer needing a littler help with technique or tumbling skills for competition? Do you have a cheerleader that just needs a little extra help to get her back handspring? Does your tumbler have aching wrists because of poor form? Or does your gymnasts just need a little individual time with coaches? We also offer Private Lessons by appointment.
