Parents-
We are on week 4 of our tumbling classes. I hope that your children are enjoying the tumbling classes, as much as us coaches are.
I would like to announce that Kardio Kidz now has a facebook page that you can get updates on. Follow Kardio Kidz inside Season’s of Santaquin on Facebook for updates.
To make the most of class time here are some recommendations:
· Be on time.
· Please take coat and shoes off in 1st room and leave them there.
· Make sure your child/children stretch and practice at home. This really will help them to advance.
· Make sure your child uses the restroom before class.
· Wear proper Tumbling clothes (clothes that children can move in that are fitting to their bodies. Leotards for girls are ideal. No socks on feet. No jewelry).
· Some students have requested water breaks. Since there is not a drinking fountain nearby, please send a small water bottle with your student, if you would like them to have a water break. I say small, because too much water in their little bellies can make them hurt when we jump on the trampoline. It can also lead to potty breaks.
· If possible observe your child from the other room. I am noticing that it gets really loud during class and any noise really echoes in our Tumbling room. You are welcome to stay and watch, but not required to. If you want to sit and observe class from in the same room as the students, please do so silently. It is really hard especially for our youngest students to have this distraction. Another option is to sit in the other room and peek in during your child’s turn.
Other reminders:
· The Seasons of Santaquin has requested that the tumbling students please use the stairs. I would like to encourage everyone to please use the stairs not only to respect this request, but also to help students be just a little more active. The entrance to the stairs is just to the left of the elevator.
· If you are making payments, the next payment is due next class 2/27/2013. Please contact Mindy if you have questions on how much you owe.
Thank you for this opportunity to teach your child,
Mindy Sherrow
